He is survived by his son, James Smith; daughter, Suzanne (Richard) Austin; grandchildren, Arlou, Jessica, Amy, James Jr., Richard II and Sarah; great-grandchildren, David, Amanda and Kelly; sister, Geraldine Cassleman; brother, David (Rosemary); special friend, Ronald Ridley.
No prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service Wednesday, October 3rd at 7 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Rochester School for the Deaf, 1545 St. Paul, Rochester, NY 14621.
