Eddie Ray Collins

Passed January 12, 2024 at the age of 62

Predeceased by his father, Charles Collins; sisters, Jacqueline & Phyllis Everett; & brother, Eric Collins.

Survived by his daughter, Shatara Collins; granddaughter, Shamiyah Chandler; mother, Dorothy Collins; brothers, Derrick (Jacqueline) Collins, Tony (Beverly) Collins, Byron Collins, Brian (Phyllis) Collins, & Steven (Mary) Collins; a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, & cousins; aunt, Gail Mcpherson; close friend, Kim Lark; & other family & friends.

Eddie loved his family deeply. He also loved music & to dance. He would do anything for anyone.

Eddie will be remembered as a tremendous athlete & a joy to be around. May he rest in peace & God bless you all.

Calling hours will be Thursday January 25, 10-12pm service following 12pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.
