Edith R. Benjamin
May 18, 1929 — June 30, 2023
Edith R Benjamin "Honey" (May 17, 1929-June 30, 2023) has peacefully transitioned at age 94.
Predeceased by husband Thomas C. Benjamin and son Leonard Benjamin.
She is survived by her loving Children, Shlon Curry, Sheila (Kevin) Holman, Jeffery (Darlene) Benjamin, and Kenneth Benjamin.
Edith was a beloved grandmother (13), great-grandmother (25), great-great grandmother (4), sister, aunt, family member, and friend to many.
She loved the Lord and was a devoted member to Jefferson Ave SDA Church, now called the New Ebenezer SDA Church, for over 50 years.
Edith enjoyed working with children and found great joy in teaching, dedicating more than 40 years of
her life to education.
She will be remembered for her pure heart, beautiful smile, and witty personality.
She is forever loved and will be missed eternally.
Celebration of Life services will take place on July 10, 2023 at
Bay Knoll SDA Church, 2639 E. Ridge Rd, Rochester, NY 14622.
Viewing will begin at 10am followed by the service at 11am.
Interment Riverside Cemetery.
