Unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at age 81. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, John. Survived by her sons, John II(Dawn), Dale(Karen) and Ned(Leslie); brothers, Perry(Doris) and Harold Hilbert; sister, Esther Shaner; grandchildren, Jeanne, Chad, Kerry, Tracy, Vanessa, Craig, Kurt, and Olivia; along with 8 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 13 from 2-4PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., where services will immediately follow at 4PM. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions in Edith's name may be directed to the American Cancer Society, Lakes Region, 1400 N Winton Rd. Rochester, NY 14609-5896.
