Edna M. Bringley (Kress)
May 24, 1927 — August 11, 2017
Greece: Passed peacefully on her son, David's birthday, Friday, August 11, 2017 at age 90. Predeceased by her son, David; grandson, Thomas; sister, Monica (William) Lee.
She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Joseph; children, James (Maureen), Thomas (Emmy), Suzanne (Kenneth) Khuns, Marybeth (James) Perdue, Robert (Mary), Joanie (Michele) Bringley-Hannagan, Joseph (Cathy); daughter-in-law, Cheri Bringley. Edna's greatest joy was her 23 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. She never missed a graduation.
Edna was the Matriarch of the Kress Family, leaving behind 9 siblings; and many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed 34 years of the family's annual Keuka Lake vacation, was an avid reader and card player, who also loved her friends dearly. Special thanks to Hope, Veronica and Jean for their loving care.
No prior calling hours. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated, 9:30 AM Monday, August 21, 2017 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
