Edward Ralph Bohrer
January 19, 1947 — February 24, 2019
Greece - 72, Passed away February 24, 2019 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many, he was predeceased by his son, Shaun Michael and parents Ralph and Wilhelmina (VanderTang).
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda (Murphy); son, Brian (Melissa); grandson, Charles Shaun; sister, Jane (Arthur) Rookey; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Ed was an avid golfer, adventurous traveler, tireless volunteer at his church and a lifelong fan of the Buffalo Bills. His positive attitude, generosity, compassion and loving spirit will be missed by everyone who knew him. He retired from Xerox Corp. in 2010.
Family will receive friends 4 - 7 PM Friday, March 1, 2019 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Celebration of Ed's life will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 3450 Ridge Road West.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ed's memory to the Trinity Episcopal Memorial Fund or the Shaun M. Bohrer Scholarship Fund at Trinity.
