Henrietta: Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at age 78. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Joyce: children, Karen (John) Fagelson, Edward, Patrick (Marcia), Eric (Hillery), Cindy (Tom) Clark; 9 grandchildren; sister, Mitzi Walsh; and brother, Robert Kolb.
Ed was a devoted teacher who taught at Paddy Hill School in Greece for over 30 years. An Eagle Scout and an avid outdoorsman, his greatest joy was fishing with his grandchildren at his cottage on Black Lake.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 2 from 4-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 AM at Peace of Christ Parish at St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Blvd. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Rd., Suite 401, Rochester, NY 14620.
