Predeceased by his parents Sterling and Jo Ritzman. Brother, Steve Ritzman.

Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Bonnie Ritzman. Children, Melanie Ritzman, Andy (Carley) Ritzman. Granddaughter, Evelyn Ritzman. Siblings, Gary (Theresa) Ritzman, Gerry (Art) Hughes. Brother in law, Jeff (Kim) Pierce. Many nieces, nephews as well as all the other family and friends he cherished.

Ed was a 25 year employee of Eastman Kodak Co. Recently retiring from the Greece Central School District where he impacted many people's lives through his service and friendship. In his retirement he enjoyed spending time with his family, time on the golf course and exploring new places with Bonnie. He was always looking for the next hidden gem at the record store. He could always be convinced to take a detour for a cold one, an ice cream, or a scenic view of the water.

The love he had for his family was endless including his newest role as a Grandpa (or as Evie knew him, Pops!)

His wittiness, quick humor, and kindness will live on in our hearts forever.

The family will receive friends 3-6 pm Tuesday May 21, 2024 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (GREECE LOCATION).
Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to a charity of choice in Ed's memory.
