Went home to be with his Lord and Saviour Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at age 89. He was predeceased by his parents and 2 brothers. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Joan; children, Katie Odle (Tom) Feeney, Lon (Valerie) Odle, Sarah (Martin) Weiner; grandson, Lon James Odle. Eldreth was a retiree of Gannett Newspapers after 35 years of service and truly loved going to work every day.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, December 28th at 3PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Interment at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
