Passed away September 7, 2021 at the age of 94.
Predeceased by her husband, Russell B. Pingree; daughter in law, Mary Ann Pingree; & sister Marie Govenor.
Survived by her children, John Pingree, Patricia (Richard) Whitfield, Stephen (Maureen) Pingree, Thomas (Barbara) Pingree; grandchildren, Richard Whitfield, Kathleen Hemingway, David Whitfield, Christopher Whitfield, James Pingree, Katherine Shippee, Julie Maenza, John Sussina, & Benedict Pingree; several, great grandchildren; & many close nieces, nephews, other family, & friends.
A special thank you to the caregivers of ElderOne & the nursing homes where she resided during the final months of her life.
Eleanor enjoyed her writing career including self publishing two novels.
Services will be planned in future at the family's convenience
