Spencerport/North Chili: Friday, October 1, 2010 at age 83. Decendent of the Stewart family of Scotland. Formerly lived in Willow Grove, PA.
Predeceased by her son, James Howard Gleffe and brother, John Gorden Rimmer. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Howard; daughters, Pamela (Ralph) Sadler of FL, Patricia (Mark) Wilde of NC; son, John (Connie) Gleffe of WA; sister-in-law, Ruth Rimmer of PA; niece, Melissa Hayward; nephew, John Rimmer Jr.; many grandchildren, geat-grandchildren and several cousins.
Eleanor enjoyed gardening, flower arranging, travelling and reading. She was a Den Mother, Sunday School teacher, a Teacher's Aide at Spencerport Schools, and volunteered for several other organizations. Eleanor will be greatly missed by family and friends.
The family wishes to extend a special thank-you to all the staff at the Edna Tina Wilson Living Center for providing her with loving care.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate her Memorial Service Wednesday, October 6th, 3 PM at the United Methodist Church of North Chili, 2200 Westside Drive. A reception will immediately follow in the Church fellowship hall. Private interment. Family requests the courtesy of no flowers.
