Scarlata, Elizabeth A.
Walworth: Passed away peacefully Sunday, May 17, 2009 at age 78 after a year long battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard; daughter, Kathleen Howcroft; granddaughter, Patricia McCabe and sister, Marguerite Byrne. She is survived by her son, Philip (Kathy) Scarlata; son-in-law, Richard Howcroft; daughters, Deborah (Mario) Franco, Elizabeth (Richard) Gardner; grandchildren, Richard and Kari Howcroft, Kathleen (Matt Baker) McCabe, Christopher and Bethany Scarlata, Kennedy and Riley Gardner; great-grandchildren, Kaidyn VanDelinder and Paige Quigley; brothers, Kenneth (Helen) Moore, William (Grace) Moore; nieces and nephews, James (Mary) Welsh, Robert (Edith) Welsh, Sharon (Lou) Moore-Bell; special friends, Diane and James Deshaies, Barbara Preston, Michael Waters and many other friends, nieces and nephews. Elizabeth will always be remembered as an avid sports fan, #1 Larry Bird fan, and a member of the Red Sox Nation Fan Club.
The family will receive friends Thursday, May 21st from 4-8 PM at New Comer
Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 AM at Peace of Christ Parish at St. Ambrose Church, 25 Empire Blvd. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park.
