Greece: Passed away peacefully at home on Friday, Aug. 21, 2009. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 43 years, Don, her mom, Elise King and son-in-law Tom O'Connor. Survived by her 4 children, Donna O'Connor, Don (Andrea), Mike (Lyn) and Steve (Debbie) Lane. Also survived by her grandchildren, Dave, Don, Jeff, Ben Spagnola, Brian, Chris, Kim Lane, Cori Wright, Michelle Nightingale, Jennifer Lane, Jonathon Boyd, Aaron, Stephanie Lane, step-grandsons, Sean and Mike O'Connor and great grandchildren, Chloe Wright, Alexis Nightingale, Izabel Rivera, Jordyn, Spencer, Rylea Lane.
She also leaves behind her favorite dog, Syracuse. Grandma Lane, as she was affectionately known by everyone, loved being with her children, grandchildren and all their friends, playing cards and games, especially Jeopardy, Scrabble and Euchre.
Calling hours are Sunday, Aug. 23 from 5 to 9 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday 9:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 West Ridge Road. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Road, Fairport, New York 14450 in her memory.
