Rochester: Died Friday, August 17th, 2007 at St. Ann's Nursing Home. She was 88 years of age. Predeceased (August 5, 2007) by husband, William G. of 60 years; son, Gerard.
Elizabeth was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Anne's Church. Elizabeth grew up and worked on the family farm in Rush, NY. After high school and graduating from St. Mary's Business School, she worked at Wollensoch in Rochester, NY. When her children arrived she stayed home and devoted her life to her family.
Elizabeth is survived by son, Jim (Joyce); grandchildren, Mark (Shannan) & Ken; Gerard's daughters, Michele (great-granddaughter, Ella) and Kathryn; son, William H. (Peggy), grandchildren, Matthew & Jamie Beth; daughter, Rita Magri and grandchildren, Alphonso, Joseph & Francesca; daughter, Mary (Glen) Adams, grandchildren, Bryan, Gary, David, Richard & Robert; and son, Lawrence (Paula); sisters, Rita (Louis) Lambert & Loretta Irwin; sister-in-law, Helen "Betty" East; many nieces & nephews.
There will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to celebrate her Funeral Mass on Thursday, August 23rd, 10 AM at St. Anne's Church (corner of Mt. Hope and Brighton Park). Private interment. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Hospice of Rochester Lifetime Care (c/o St. Ann's), 3111 Winton Rd., South, Rochester, NY 14623 in her memory.
