Fairport: Passed away peacefully Sunday, April 26, 2009 at age 78 with her family at her side. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, Warren; children, Gary (Sue), Marlene (Bernie) Keating, Marilyn Carson, Jeff (Vicky), Lois (Ed) Reich, Julie (Steve) Peters-Apton, Susan (Randy) Naccarella and Bob; 20 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Diane Langen; brothers, David and Ed (Joan) Smith; also many nieces and nephews. Betty will always be remembered for her beautiful blue eyes and as a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 30th from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, May 1st at 11:15 AM at Church of the Assumption, 20 East Ave., Fairport. Interment, Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Church of the Assumption.
