Elizabeth J. Marcello

Pre-deceased by husband of 57 years, Anthony Marcello, brother Phillip Arcara, sisters Grace McCue, Angela Popowich, Gloria Meli, Carol Mabellis. Leaves daughters Linda (Marcello) Galante, Barb Marcello-Kuhn, Grandsons Giuseppe Galante (Danielle), Anthony Kuhn (Christy), Roberto Galante (Valerie), Great Granddaughters Angelina Galante, Adriana Kuhn, Alexandra Kuhn, Chloe' Galante, Giselle Galante, sister MaryAnn Arcara, Many nieces and nephews, her best friend of 89 years, Sarah Salvati.

Elizabeth worked for Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Seneca Park Zoo, Secretary of Kiwanis Club of Gates-Greece, volunteered at various nursing homes in the Greece area.

Elizabeth started "The Couples Club", made up of 12 couples that met at YMCA dances in early 1950s, who all married and remained friends for life.

Liz believed that if you reach for what you dream, your dreams become reality and instilled this into her daughters.

The family will receive friends 11- 1pm. Friday, February 28, 2025 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (west of Long Pond Rd.) A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home following visitation at 1pm. Interment Falls Cemetery in the Spring.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association Rochester & Finger Lakes Region Chapter, 200 Meridian Centre Blvd Suite 110, Rochester, NY 14618 in memory of Elizabeth.
