Betty was happiest when she was surrounded by family and friends, and enjoyed good food and fellowship. With over 47 years of service with BASC at SUNY Brockport, she served as a food-service supervisor in one of her many roles. She took great pride in her work and her exuberant passion shined even at her advanced age
Mom was the centerpiece of the family. She loved unconditionally and always could see the good in people no matter what. We were incredibly blessed to have her as a mother and in all our lives.
Known for her sense of humor, her contagious laughter always made for the best belly-laughs that would have the whole room engulfed in joy. Those were the best of times.
We will remember her as an extraordinary personality that unified people through her love and her enjoyment of cooking and television game shows.
She was an amazing cook who could make pies like no other; apple was the family favorite.
You could confide in her with anything.
We lost the person who knew us all best and whom we could share our hearts with…..she was a safe place to fall…we will miss you dearly.
Family will receive friends Saturday, April 16th 1-3PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridge way Ave. A service will follow at 3PM.
Donations can be made to the
American Cancer Society in Betty's memory.
