Elizabeth A. "Betty" Smith

Predeceased by her parents, Francis and Olive Kraft.

Survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Michael Smith. Daughter, Melinda Smith. Son, Adam (Leslie) Smith. 5 grandchildren, AJ, Derek, Calvin, Zach, Rileigh. Many dear friends.

Betty was an avid gardener known for her massive garden and enormous elephant ears. She really had a green thumb. She would always have beautiful bouquets full of her huge Dalhia's for all her friends.
She enjoyed spending her summers on Honeoye Lake at the cottage that she helped turn into a summer home. She took great pleasure in Cooking for holidays there was always more food than necessary that was delicious. She loved her family loved to spoil her grandchildren. She was always there to lend them an ear and give them encouragement.
In addition to the human children, she loved her dog grandchildren. She helped to foster many, many dogs and provided them with a loving stop on the way to their forever home. She will be missed by so many.

A Memorial Service will be held in Betty's honor on Saturday January 6, 2024, 1pm at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 4115 Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY 14616.
