Howe, Elvin J. Sr. "Ozzie"
Gates: Peacefully on Sunday October 7, 2007 at age 80. He is predeceased by his son, Guy Robert Howe and brother, Jack. Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Carmen; children, Wayne, Ozzie Jr. Jeannette (Steve) Shoemaker, and Glenda (David) Shoemaker; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; sisters, Carol and Betty. Ozzie was a United States Army veteran serving in both World War II and Korea.
The family will receive friends on Friday October 12 from 6 - 8 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. where services will immediately follow at 8PM. Private interment. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Rochester Lifetime Care, 3111 Winton Rd. S., Rochester, NY 14623.
