Greece - Our beloved "Daddy" transitioned unexpectantly on April 16, 2022.
This great man of faith has established his heavenly home with those who have gone before him.
Elder Rourk was a retiree of Eastman Kodak and retired from pastoring the Church of God by Faith, 230 Adams St.
He is predeceased by the love of his life, Ruth Rourk, his grandson Cedric Medlock, his parents and his siblings. Elder Rourk leaves to mourn his passing, his children Cheryl Brown, Sonya (Anthony) Miller, Karen (Jerry) Fletcher, Pastor D. Christopher Rourk, an adopted daughter Bettie (Jerome) Flood, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, brother-in-law Matthew (Helen) Coley, and a host of family and friends.
Emeritus Dr. David C. Rourk will lie in state from 9-12 noon Saturday April 30, 2022, at Greater Adams St. Church of God by Faith, 230 Adams St. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon. Entombment White Haven Memorial Park, Birchwood Court, 210 Marsh Rd, Pittsford, NY 14534.
