Webster- Ernest J. Blure Jr., 91, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020 surrounded by the love of his family.
Ernie was born in Rochester, NY on January 26, 1929 to the late Ernest and Frances Blure Sr. On September 2, 1984 Ernie married the love of his life Nancy. They were married for 35 years. Ernie was the owner of Sunset Heating and Cooling for over 40 years. He will be remembered for his love of woodworking. His passions in life were golf and his family.
Ernie is predeceased by his son, Joe Blure.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy, his children, Maryann (Butch Race) Turpyn, Beth (Matthew) Van Hook, and Paul (Alysia) Adams, his grandchildren, Andrea, Mikayla, Logan, and Bryce, his cherished dog, Molly Magee, and a host of family and friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd., Rochester, NY on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from 1:00pm-4:00pm with a service to immediately follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Ernie's name to the American Heart Association, American Heart Association, PO Box 417005 Boston, MA 02241-7005
