Passed away peacefully on January 16th, 2020 at the age of 81. Predeceased by his parents, Edith A. and Henry E. Clarke. He is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia A. Clarke; daughter, Lynn (Alex) Heaton; grandsons, Jamie, Alex and Christopher Heaton; siblings, Doreen, Brenda, Roger and Kenneth along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ernest was in the Queens own Royal West Kent Regiment and the Merchant Navy . He was a loving and devoted father who loved sailing and golf.
Family will receive friends on Saturday January 25th 2020 from 3 PM - 6 PM followed by a service at 6 PM , at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Lipson Cancer and Blood Center,1425 Portland Ave Rochester, NY 14621.
