Loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Predeceased by Karoly, his wife of 62 years and survived by daughters; Elizabeth (John) Muller, Karen (Larry) Nobles, Son; Paul (Denise) Edwards, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Gene was a high school teacher, then a professor and department chairman at MCC before retiring. Gene was a Deacon, serving in the Rochester Catholic Diocese for 30 years, and a Chaplain in the Rochester Fire Protective.
His other interests include; glider pilot and builder of remote control airplanes and model railroads.
SERVICE UPDATE * : Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 am Tuesday morning 10 am August 25, 2020 at St Rose's Catholic Church,1985 Lake Ave, Lima, NY 14485. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery Rush, NY.
NYS Guidelines include; masks, social distancing and a limited capacity of 70 to attend at church.
