Eugene E. Spinning Jr., age 68, of Rochester, New York passed away on March 30th, 2022.

Gene is survived by his siblings Holly Lynch, Ray (Susan) Spinning, Bonnie Pino, his numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Gene grew up in Rochester, where he attended Monroe High School. After an unfortunate accident when Gene was 16, leaving him quadriplegic, he pursued a life dedicated to activism and ensuring integrity for the disabled community. He loved discussing the latest laws, regulations, and programs affecting the disabled, and would actively research and investigate what he could do to better assist the community. Gene may have had some struggles, but he lived life to the fullest. He would do anything for his family and friends. He made everyone who knew him laugh hysterically at all the stories he shared, especially the stories of his mischievous nature. His family is devastated but grateful to know that Gene is finally at peace.
Services will be held graveside at White Haven Memorial Park on April 20th at 11:00. In lieu of flowers, please donate in honor of Gene to the United Spinal Association at https://unitedspinal.org/support-our-mission/.
