Eugene W Clancy

 Eugene W. Clancy, at the age of 81 years old, born October 27, 1942 

Mr. Clancy is pre-deceased by his parents William and Myrle Clancy and his younger brother and sister Harold Clancy and Lillian Allen. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Lydia B. Clancy, three sons William, Eugene and Thomas, two grandchildren Josie and Nicolai. The eldest of 8 children his 5 surviving younger siblings are Cecil, Vera, Clyde, Elmer and Ruth. 

Mr. Clancy taught social studies for 33 years at Wheatland Chili Central H.S. A founding member of Local 31-18 American Federation of Teachers he served on the negotiating committee and helped win fair wages for his fellow employees. He will be missed by so many who knew him.

Family will receive friends 4:00-5:15 pm Wednesday August 28, 2024 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (Greece Location). A Celebration of Life, sharing memories will begin from 5:15pm to 6:00pm. Interment is private in Hunt's Hollow Cemetery, Hunt, NY.
