Rochester: A lady of style and love for life. Died Monday May 15, 2017. Born in 1935 in Vienna, Austria to Joseph and Leopoldine Mairhuber.
Eveline attended dress making school before immigrating to the United States in 1959. She was employed at Bonds Clothing while also a sewing instructor at the YWCA and Kodak. She joined Sears as a sewing instructor in 1973 and joined the sales force before retiring at the age of 75 in 2010. As a dress maker she made many wedding dresses and provided personal sewing. Eveline had a style of her own, a classy lady.
She is survived by her brother, Hubert (Heidi) Mairhuber and nephew, Roland Mairhuber all of Austria; niece, Sandra (Richard) Bossert and their daughters, Kristin and Kelli. Many thank yous to Highland Hospital, Dr. L. Booth, Dr. C. Cove and staff.
Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Monday, May 22, 2017 at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. followed by a Service at 7 PM. Interment, White Haven Memorial Park.
