Greece, NY: Monday, September 20, 2010 at age 86. Predeceased by her husband, David M. Pinkney; brother, Arthur Bainbridge; and sister, Margaret Kinsella. She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Robert) Leonard and son, Gregory Pinkney; granddaughter, Rachel Leonard; brothers-in-law, Thomas Pinkney and Edward Kinsella; nieces, Christine Kinsella and Kathleen Pfaff; nephew, Daniel Kinsella; also many other nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Evelyn was a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother with a life long love for her family, classical music and old movies. She was a long time member of Bethany Presbyterian Church.
Family will receive friends Thursday 2-3 PM at the Bethany Presbyterian Church, 3000 Dewey Avenue, followed by her Memorial Service at 3 PM. There will be a reception at the Church following the Service. A Graveside Service will be held Friday 1:30 PM at Riverside Cemetery (meet at gate). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bethany Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 3000 Dewey Avenue, Rochester, NY 14616 in Evelyn's memory.
