Saturday, February 10, 2007. Formerly of Auburn, NY. Predeceased in death by husband Richard J.; daughter, Diane; and son, Roger. Loving mother of Bernard (Muriel) Dooley, Susan (John) Kelly, Catherine (James) Mack, and Mary (Douglas) Darrow. Cherished grandmother to Roger (Yezebel) Dooley, Sean (Kristina) Dooley, Denise (Michael) Jones, Jennifer (Casey) Bernhard, Elizabeth and Melissa Kelly, Joshua (Alecia) Darrow, Zachary (Johnna) Darrow, Nikki Darrow, Lauren Mack; and great-grand-children, Robert and Katie; brothers-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Alfred Dooley, Dr. John Dooley. Before retiring to Rochester, Evelyn was a registered nurse at Auburn Memorial Hospital.
The family wishes to thank the staff of St. John's Home for the compassionate care given to our mother the last two years; especially the staff of 1 Hastings. Also special thanks to the staff of Lifetime Care Hospice for their comfort and support.
Friends are invited to St. Margaret Mary Church, 401 Rogers Pkwy. 10 AM Wed., Feb. 14, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment, St. Joseph's Cemetery, Auburn, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. John's Home (Music Therapy Program), 150 Highland Ave., Rochester, NY 14620, or Hospice of Rochester Lifetime Care, 3111 Winton Rd. S., Rochester, NY 14623.
