Evelyn J. Rinere (Muto)

Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on January 18, 2025 at the age of 88. Her sudden death occurred three months after the loss of her husband, with whom she is now reunited.

Predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Frank D. Rinere; parents, Henry & Mary Muto; sister, Josephine Billo; brother, Louis Muto; son-in-law, Bill Nichols.

She is survived by her children, Frank H. (Patrice) Rinere, Cheri Nichols & Shelley Ouellette; grandchildren, Christopher (Eugene), Brian (Mickie), Michael (Ryan), Erin (Pat), Chelsea (Adam), Kevin, Kristin, Jack, Stephen, Olivia & Lauren; great-grandchildren, Remi, Aria, Oliver, Dawson, Kori & Koa; In-laws, Jean Muto, Gerry (Fran) Michalski & Donna (Travis) Foster; many nieces, nephews & friends.

Our beautiful mother lived her life in true devotion to God, and love of her family. She was elegant and graceful, with an eye for fashion. A kind, welcoming soul, she exuded warmth in her smile. Her children and grandchildren often heard her signature line, "I'll love you forever." 

Evelyn retired after 25 years from Control Data Corporation, as a Customer Service Manager. She spent many winters in Naples, Florida with her husband, Frank. 

She was a model of faith to all of us, actively involved in the ministries at St. John the Evangelist. We are comforted to know that she is in God's presence, surrounded by His light. 

The family would like to thank the staff at Mill Landing & Unity Hospital for their loving care & attention. We would also like to thank Eileen Zegarelli & all her Fatima Prayer friends for their love & support.

The family will have a private interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. There will be a Celebration of life, for her family & friends, on her birthday, March 1, 2025. Please contact family regarding details.
