Rodriguez, Evelyn "Evy"
Irondequoit: Evelyn was born on November 23, 1959 and has left us to cherish her memory on January 9, 2008. She is predeceased by her parents, Pedro & Carmen Rodriguez; and brother, Orlando Rodriguez. "Evy" is survived by Ginine St. George, her partner and the love of her life. She also leaves her brothers, Elias (Monsita), Willie (Mayo) and Dino; her sister, Migdalia; as well as her very special friend, sister/niece Simaris Diaz; many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and her faithful and loyal companions, C.C. and Desiree.
Evy was an employee of the City of Rochester for 23 years, leaving only good memories to everyone whose life she touched. Many special friends have been with her on her final journey and will miss her beautiful smile, kindness and warmth. Evelyn will be sadly missed by everyone.
Family and friends may call Saturday from 11 AM - 5 PM at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., during which time a Prayer Service will be held at 3:30 PM. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Lipson Cancer Center, c/o Rochester General Hospital Foundation, 1299 Portland Avenue, Rochester, New York 14621 in Evelyn's memory.
