Gates: On Nov. 17, 2010 at age 85, our loving mother, Francesca Lanza has been called to come home to the lord. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her side. Predeceased by her husband Antonino Lanza, her brothers Onofrio Pecoraro, Fedele Pecoraro and sister Anna Pecoraro. Survived by her children Nicolo, Giuseppe (Anna), Salvatore, Onofrio, Giorgio (Maria Carmela), Roberto, Mario, Rosalba and Gabriella. Survived by her sister Giovanna Sorci, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends 4-8 PM Fri. (TODAY) at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:30 AM Sat. at Holy Apostles Church, 530 Lyell Ave. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Foundation www.pdf.org
