Father, Son, Brother, Veteran & Patriot
Fran left us on July 2nd, 2021 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by his daughter Jennifer, his father Jake and his "dad" Eddie Benoit.
Left with fond memories are his daughter Andrea (Andy) Wahls, mother Joann Benoit, brothers Bill (Donna) and Tom (Tricia) Leasure, step siblings Helen Benoit, Barb Gardner, Charles (Rose) Benoit, Anna (RD) DeZarn , Teresa (Corey) Keyes, many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews plus a multitude of good friends and "brothers in arms".
His pride and joy were his daughters. There was no end to what he would do for his family.
His next greatest joy was in the brotherhood he found in service through the Patriot Guard and riding his Harley to honor the service of others.
He served in the US Army from 1975 through 1980 and specialized in Military Law Enforcement.
He was an avid outdoorsman and traveled many times in pursuit of this passion.
His Patriotism was shown by his military service, service as an Immigration Detention Guard and by the years he spent in the Patriot Guard honoring others who had sacrificed for their country.
"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God such men lived."
said George S. Patton.
We thank God for Fran's life and the time we were privileged to spend with him.
We also thank the Wilmot Cancer Institute for their exceptional care during his battle with cancer.
