Francis (Frank) Malara

Passed away suddenly on April 6, 2025 at the age of 78.

Predeceased by his parents, Francis & Margaret Malara.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Denise N. Malara; children, Christa Knorr (Malara) & Marc (Julee Nesbitt) Malara; grandchildren, William, Justin (Heather), Ashley (Kevin), Jadyn, Rockie, Mikaela (Alex), Angelo & Nicola; 8 great-grandchildren;sister-in-law, Elaine Zinone (Ron Muratore); God-son, Ricky Zinone; estranged daughter, Alicia Costa; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Frank deeply cherished his family, friends, and grandchildren.

Frank carved his path through the world with an entrepreneurial spirit, owning numerous restaurants, bars, and pizza shops, which became beloved gathering places for many. His ventures did not stop there; he also owned a limo company, adding a touch of elegance to countless special occasions. Frank's incredible culinary talents were especially showcased through his famous meat hot sauce—a delicious recipe that he treasured and shared with his brother.

Outside his professional pursuits, Frank embraced life through his hobbies and interests. He was a devoted NASCAR fan, and there was nothing he enjoyed more than the thrill of the race, accompanied by his love for classic cars. Whether he was building, fixing, or simply enjoying them, they were a true representation of his passion for life.

Frank's adventurous spirit also led him to wrestle and play football in his younger days, and he devoted his time to coaching youth sports, where he instilled values of teamwork and perseverance in the younger generation. In moments of leisure, Frank could often be found at the Black Jack tables, where the lighthearted competition brought him happiness and camaraderie.

As we gather to celebrate the life of this remarkable man, let us remember Frank not just for his accomplishments, but for the genuine joy he spread to all around him. His spirit will forever remain in our hearts, reminding us of the importance of family, friendship, and the little moments that bring us together.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm, a funeral ceremony will immediately follow at 1:00 pm, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue.
