Francis W Scheidt
Frank passed peacefully on Jan 12th with his family around him.
He is predeased by his parents, Francis and Jane (Freund) Scheidt. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mildred (Major) Scheidt, his children Matthew and Tamara Scheidt, his daughter Jennifer Scheidt, four grandchildren, Joseph Scheidt, Steven Scheidt, Martin Scheidt, and Amber Moll and the light of his life, his great grand son, Liam James Cookinham, his brother Michael (Sharon) Scheidt, his sister Jane (Tom) Garling, and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
He attended Holy Rosary grade school and Aquinas Institute before serving a brief term in the Army Reserves. As an audio engineer, he worked at WBBF and WAXC radio stations, before starting his own recording studio, Frank Scheidt Audio Productions, Inc. in 1984. He finally retired in 2015.
Frank's love of antique Ford vehicles was known far and wide. He was always ready to answer questions or help a pal make repairs. His love of historical research and writing led him to being the editor of many car related newsletters, The Greyhound Express for the Western NY Regional Group, The Foundation News, for the Early Ford V-8 Museum, The Henry Ford Heritage Association newsletter, The Ford Tool Time newsletter, as well as being a contributing editor of the V-8 Times, the magazine of the Early Ford V-8 Club of America.
A private family only service will be held Tuesday January 19th at 7:00PM. The service will be live streamed at:

A celebration of life gathering will be planned for when we can all get together again.
