Frank Michael Yakymovitch, departed this world on March 5, 2025, at age of 70. Born on April 16, 1954, in Rochester, New York, Frank's lifelong dedication to his work and loved ones exemplified the very essence of his character.
Frank was not only the proud owner of Frank's Lawn & Tree Service but was also a stalwart of hard work, pouring himself into every endeavor with unmatched vigor and commitment. His work was more than just a profession; it was a reflection of his identity. Known for his unwavering loyalty and generosity, he was the type of friend who would give the shirt off his back. Those fortunate enough to know him appreciated his genuine spirit and the warmth he imparted to all he encountered.
His legacy will continue through his daughters, Amber (John Rafferty) Yakymovitch and Sara Yakymovitch, his grandchildren—Cameron, Annalise, Dakota, and Harper, his nephew Bryan Kent, as well as his dear sisters, Nadia (Dave) Kent, Mary Ann Yakymovitch, Monica Yakymovitch, and Sister Michele Yakymovitch SSMI. Frank also leaves behind the mother of his daughters, Collen Yakymovitch, and countless friends who were touched by his kindness. Among these friends are Fuzzy, Jimmy Hulse, Dan Cook, Clifford Mullen, Ricky, Sam & Fred Ortiz, Steve Coffee, Joseph Kuntz, Ron Mach, John Jackson, and Vivian Miller, along with many others whom we may have forgotten but Frank will always remember.
Frank found joy not only in his work but also in the simple pleasures of life. He had an enduring passion for long motorcycle rides, relishing the freedom of the open road—a manifestation of his adventurous spirit. His proudest accomplishments revolved around the love he cultivated within his family; being a father, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend brought him immeasurable joy and fulfillment.
He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Yakymovitch, and his mother, Mary Yakymovitch, whose love and guidance laid the foundation for the incredible man Frank became.
A Celebration of Life honoring Frank will take place on March 8, 2025, at M's Bar & Grill 4300 Culver Road Rochester, N.Y.14622. The gathering will begin at 2:00 PM, with heartfelt remembrances and camaraderie filling the air until 5:00 PM.
As we remember Frank Michael Yakymovitch, let us celebrate a life defined by hard work, generous spirit, and indelible connections—his memory will forever remain etched in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to call him friend or family.
