ROCHESTER: December 22, 2009. He is predeceased by his parents, William and Olivia Childress; brother, James; sisters, Mattie Williams and Molly Edwards. Survived by his wife, Deborah (Duryee) Childress; daughters, Clista Peterson, Lula (Ray) Bryant, Tanya Childress, Christine (Eddie Jr.) Fraizer and Amy (Jasen) James; grandchildren, Marketa Owens, Yvonne Taylor, Angel Bryant, Tina Chapman, Ray Bryant Jr., Eddie III, Daeshawn and TyJae Fraizer; great-grandchildren, Shanika, Stephen, Marshay, India, Cameron, Gregory, Chatney and Isaiah; sisters, Allie Moulton, Santha (Don) Howard; brothers, Carl and Curtis (Mary) Childress; numerous beloved nieces and nephews; special friends, Joe Ward, John Grey and Jesus Rodriguez.
Family and friends may attend calling hours on Tuesday December 29th from 2-4pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd., followed by a Memorial Ceremony at 4pm. Interment private. Contributions may be made to the Pluta Cancer Center, 125 Red Creek Drive, Rochester 14623.
