VanDerbrook, Frederick "Fred"
Greece: Passed away Sunday, September 27, 2009 at age 80. Fred was a high school graduate of Aquinas, a (retired Electrician) from the Eastman Kodak Company, where he worked 34 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Esther VanDerbrook. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Jean (McWhinney) VanDerbrook; sons, Robert VanDerbrook and Steve (Jean) VanDerbrook; daughters, Eileen (Bob) Larkin, Patricia (Ralph) Gascon, Karen (Tim) Post and Sharon (Rick) Black; grandchildren, Charleen (Doug) Hale, Karl VanDerbrook, Casey VanDerbrook, Melissa (Bob) Knapp, Courtney and Brian Larkin, Eric and Amanda Gascon, Kevin and Briana Post, Heather, Chelsea and Rachel Black; great-grandchildren, Arianna and Douglas Jr. Hale, Joseph Black; sister-in-law, June McWhinney; cousins, Diane Gaechter and June Roy; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call TODAY Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 11 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, Lifetime Care, 3111 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY 14623 or the Veteran's Administration, 465 Westfall Road, Rochester, NY 14620 in Fred's memory.
