Gates: Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at age 66 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents, George and Bernice Mancuso; and brother, Joseph Mancuso. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Patricia (Boehm); son, George (Molly Gardner) Mancuso; daughters, Colleen (Brian) Glenn and Lynda (Greg) Lammes; grandchildren, Sarah, Stephen, Spencer, Giorgio, Jordan, Dominick and Alexander; sisters, Grace (Dave Marcoux) Behnke, Patricia (Jon Maira) Paola, Sharon (Robert) Snyder; brother, James Mancuso; sisters-in-law, Sandra (Robert) Platner & Beverly (J.D.) Dietrich; many nieces and nephews; special friends the Maloney & Buscaglia families.
Frederick was a Vietnam Army Veteran, recognized by Disabled American Veteran's, Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Fund and the VFW.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Strong's BMT 8-1200 Unit.
Family and friends may call Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10 AM at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 4100 Lyell Road. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the VA Outreach Center, 459 South Ave., Rochester, NY 14620 Center or the Wilmot Cancer Research Center, 601 Elmwood Ave., Box 704, Rochester, NY 14642 in Frederick's memory.
