Gail Laura Wanek passed peacefully Friday May 12, 2023 at the age of 76.
She is pre deceased by her parents, Vivian and Edgar Dahlke and her sisters Hazel and Judy.
She is survived by husband of 50 years, Kenneth Wanek. She is survived by; sister, Nona; brother, Ross; daughter, Allison; son, Jason; grandchildren, Abi Jo, JJ, Maggie and Kit.
Gail grew up in Denmark Wisconsin before earning her B.S. from U of Wisconsin-Madison and earned her Nursing Degree from Bellin Hospital. She served as the Secretary at Rochester School 39 and 23 for decades until retiring in 2006. Gail was an enthusiast of puzzles, gardening, baking rhubarb-custard pie, plays, cats, music, reading, walks, murder mystery shows, and tennis. She regularly volunteered her time at the Webster Public Library.
