Gale C. Behrens

Gale Carol Behrens, 77, of Gates, NY, passed away on March 5, 2025. She was born on December 25, 1947, in Clark, New Jersey, to the late Richard and Martha Crosby. She graduated from Clark High School.

Gale is survived by George, her loving husband of twenty years; her stepchildren Jeffrey (Oussama Zahr) Behrens and Katie Behrens; her sisters Donna (Angelo) Bonano, Robin Crosby, and Susan Linser; and her cats Simon and Stephanie.

Gale worked for twenty years for GMAC before retiring. In retirement she enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Society, going out for coffee, collecting tchotchkes, reading, arranging flowers, attending Spencerport United Methodist Church, and spending time with friends and family.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations and Funerals at 2636 Ridgeway Avenue on March 15 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. with a service to follow. Because of her love of flowers, flowers would be appreciated. Donations may be made in Gale’s name to Lollypop Farm.

The family encourages flowers to be ordered through Arjuna Florist or Stacy K Floral. Flowers should be delivered Friday, March 14, night.
