Mr. Gary Burroughs was brought into life by God on June 28,1963 in Rochester, NY. He was the son of Ms. Rosa M. Peters. On August 17, 2021 God saw fit to call one of his strongest warriors to rest from labor and illness.
Growing up Gary attended schools in the Churchville-Chili School District. While a student, he became an athlete and developed a love for sports, especially football. He served as captain to his high school football team and was a life-long Dallas Cowboys fan.
After graduating high school, Gary went on to attend college at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania. After leaving Cheyney, he went on to build a career as a manager of several restaurants. In the mid-1990s, he moved back home to Rochester, NY where he continued to grow in his management career.
Gary was known for being a hardworker and for his infectious sense of humor. He had the ability to light up a room with laughter and bring joy to anyone he was around. Gary will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and co-workers.
Gary leaves to cherish his memory his mother Rosa (Ron) Peters, of Rochester, NY; two sons Joshua J. McLamore of Webster, NY and Devon M. Emmertz of Chester, PA.; three daughters Indigo S.
