Gates: Died peacefully, Sunday, August 8, 2010, at age 59. Predeceased by his parents, Leslie and Shirley; and sister, Lynne. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 39 years, Nadine; children, Bryon (Jennifer), Jan (Adam) Schneider; grandson, Brandon; sister, Irene James; brothers, George (Lisa), Donnie (Gloria) Perry; nieces and nephews, Courtney, Robin, Cole Wagner, Michael and Sean Jopson. Gary was a member of the Rochester Corvette Club, and Teamsters Local 118.
There will be no prior calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, August 12, at 7 PM at Trinity Emmanuel Church, 761 Elmgrove Rd. Private Interment. Memorial contributions may be directed to the ASPCA, 424 E. 92nd St., New York City, NY 10128, or the American Lung Association, 1594 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14620.
