SPRINGWATER: Died suddenly Friday, November 26, 2004 at age 52 in a place he
loved the most. Gary had a kind and generous nature. His greatest love was his
family and friends, which were one and the same. He loved the outdoors which
started at a young age in the Boy Scouts. After serving in the Navy, he was
employed at Highland Hospital where he became chief engineer. He loved hunting
and fishing, and all of his "little" outdoor projects. We will all miss and
remember the genuine kindness he shared with everyone. As we write this, we know we could never say enough.
The following family members invite you to share in the memory of his life.
Survived by son, Thomas Lyzwa; daughter, Carrie Lyzwa: parents, Julian and
Shirley (Prachel)Lyzwa; brothers, David (Barbara) and Scott Lyzwa; sister, Kathy
(Mark) Heinkel; several grandchildren, nieces & nephews.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday 5 to 8 at the New Comer Family Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. where his Funeral Service will be held Wednesday morning at 10 AM. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Golisano's Children's Hospital at Strong, 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14642 in Gary's memory.
