Predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth J. Short. Parents; Charles and Lillie Short.
Survived by his Daughters; Dawn (Jim) Cwierley, Suzanne (Sam) Majetic. Son; Gary (Lyndsey) Short. Grandchildren; Jessica, Matthew Cwierley, Nathan, Ryan, Gavin, Colin Short. Madalyne Majetic. Brothers; Richard (Lynnette) Short. Sister; Linda Flanders. Several nieces and nephews. Close cousin; Jerry Houck. Many dear friends.
Gary was a proud employee and Butcher for Wegman's Food Markets for nearly 40 years. He enjoyed playing euchre, deer hunting, wood working, watching westerns on TV, spending time with his family.
Friends may call 4-7 pm Thursday May 9, 2019 at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (corner of Long Pond Rd.)
On Friday morning at 10 am, friends may meet at Christ Our Light Mausoleum at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 2461 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14612
for Gary's funeral services. Officiated by Deacon Laurence Feasel.
