Passed peacefully , Monday March 5, 2018
Survived by his loving wife of 34 years; Debra, Daughter; Shannon Sumner, Sister; Sharon Whitney, Brothers; Ronald (Patty), Gregory (Mary), Brian, Terry Whitney. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Gary and Debra enjoyed fishing together, golfing and enjoying time with each other. Gary was a school bus operator for Greece Central School District for 13 years. He will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
Family will receive friends 4-7pm Monday March 12, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals , 2636 Ridgeway Ave. (corner of Long Pond Rd.) On Tuesday morning March 13, 2018, friends may meet 11 at St. Charles Borromeo Church 3003 Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY 14616 for his mass of Christian Burial. Interment Riverside Cemetery. Full Military Honors by The US Navy following committal prayers.
