Victor: Saturday, June 13, 2009, at age 63. Predeceased by her parents, Edward and Dorothy Halter. She is survived by her loving husband, Victor F. Szymanski; daughters, Jacqueline (Daniel) Milgate and Michelle (Michael) Budinski, both of Hilton, NY; step-children, Kerry Szymanski, Dusty (Jessica) Szymanski and Jason (Janine Madama) Szymanski; grandchildren, Daniel, Derek, Jaime, Justin, and Noah; brothers, James (Joyce) and Donald (Linda) Halter; nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
Gayle beautifully accomplished her life's goal of being a good mother. She maintained a positive attitude while fighting valiantly through many health challenges. She wanted more than anything to stay with her family, but her heart would not allow it; so our hearts will now continue to beat for hers. Gayle took great pride in her appearance, sense of humor, cooking skills and her ability to make friends with everyone she met. She will be greatly missed by her life-long girlfriends Cheryl Toscano, Sue Ernisse and Carla Hernandez. Her joy was to spend time with her children and grandchildren and special trips to Canandaigua Lake with her beloved husband.
Remember the laughs and good times you shared with her.
Family and friends may call Wednesday, 4-8 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave. Her Funeral Service will be celebrated Thursday, 10 AM at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 3000 Dewey Ave. Interment, St. Patrick's Cemetery, Victor, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Gayle's memory.
Our family would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Stuver and staff at Rochester General Hospital and everyone who cared for her at Strong Memorial Hospital.
