Greece: Friday January 16, 2009 at age 88. Predeceased by her husband, Vernon & sister, Martha Haddad. She is survived by her children, V. Thomas Avery, Diane (Bob) Puchyr and Kathyrn (Mickey) McCarthy; daughter-in-law, Gail (Curt) Avery-Trenholm; sisters, Lena Goshen & Betty Haddad; brother-in-law, Ross (Beulah) Avery; grandchildren, James, Jessie & Sarah Avery, Denice Wright, Debbie (Jeff) McCabe & Thomas (Kristin) McCarthy; great grandchildren, James & Amber Avery and Brandy Wright; several nieces, nephews and close friends. Jane was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Ira-Jacobson Post.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Latta Road Nursing Home A for all their loving care and compassion given to Jane.
Friends and family may call Monday 2-4:30 PM at the New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Avenue, where family and friends will share memories and reflection at 4:30 PM. Private Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Journey Home, Inc., 994 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14626 in Jane's memory.
