ROCHESTER- Genevieve J. Turkington, 82, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family.
Jean was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 10, 1939 to the late Francis and Jean Kusiowski. Jean served her country honorably in the United States Air Force. It was there that she met her husband, Dennis Turkington. They were married for 60 years and together they raised three children. Jean will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her passion in life was her family.
Jean is survived by her beloved husband, Dennis, her children, Kevin (Elaine) Turkington, Keith Turkington, and Kelly (Jim) Wiggins, her grandchildren, Brenna, Tyler, Erik, and Leah, her 3 great-granddaughters, Summer, Autumn, and Niamh, and her sister, Lori Ferringer.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
