Friday, October 13, 2006 at age 75. He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Marian (Fess) Alley; children, Catherine (David) Young, Scott (Susan)Alley and Vicky (Jeff) Gebhard; step-children, R. James (Eva) Vick, Marianne Vick, Carey (Lynne) Vick, Christine (John) Bollinger and Mary Jo (Robert)St. George; 14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; sisters, Anne McGhee and Sally (Peter) Cook; brother, Jonathan (Marie) Scott; nieces, nephews and many friends.
George was a member of the Rochester Amateur Radio Association and a lifetime member of the Rochester Protectives. He recently retired from Laidlaw Education Services.
No prior calling hours. Private Service and Interment to be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the West Webster Fire Department.
