Survived by his loving wife Beverly Bush-Birch. Daughter Lisa Birch. Step-daughter Kerry Turner, Step-son; Gregory (Katherine) Bush, grandchildren; Weston, Roxanne, Emily, Joelle, Kera, Tyler.
3 great- grandchildren.
George served 8 years in the US Air Force and had a passion for flying. He was a past instructor at Williamson Flying Club. George spent time in Alaska in the military and enjoyed golfing and fishing in his spare time. George will be missed by all that knew him.
Family will receive friends Saturday, February 24, 2018 1pm -3:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals, 6 Empire Blvd. (corner of Culver Rd). Funeral services will be held following visitation at 3:30 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Full military honors by the US Air Force following committal prayers.
In lieu of flowers friends wishing may make contributions to Alzheimer's Association, Rochester & Finger Lakes Region, 435 E Henrietta Rd, Rochester, NY 14620 in memory of George.
